Step 2: Install and Set Up Permissions

- Select "Allow restricted settings"
- Confirm with your PIN, pattern, or fingerprint

Open the EchoCue app and grant SMS permission when prompted. Alternatively, go to Settings > Apps > EchoCue > Permissions > SMS and select "Allow".
Create a Project First
Before pairing your device, make sure you have created at least one Workspace in the Workspaces section. You'll need to select a workspace when adding your device.
Sign In and Pair Your Device
Open the app, sign in with your EchoCue account. Then return to this page, click "Add Device", select a project, and scan the QR code with the app to pair your device.
Why these permissions are needed
EchoCue sends SMS messages on your behalf through your phone. Android requires explicit permission for apps installed outside the Play Store to access SMS. Your messages and data remain private and secure.
